And there’s a reason behind why some people are bitten more by mosquitoes than others.

4. Wearing certain colors can make you a "softer" or easier target for mosquitoes.
Wearing dark colors such as black, red, dark blue, etc., make you stand out clearly for the mosquitoes. We have been hearing forever about how black attracts mosquitoes. In reality, it’s not just black - mosquitoes find it easy to locate dark colors.
5. Genetics determine how likely it is for a mosquito to bite a person.
It can be the person’s metabolism, body odor or the ability to release chemicals that act as natural repellents. In all, the overall genetics heighten or lessen your chances of getting bitten by a mosquito.
